General information

I am always looking for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows with strong quantitative skills. There are numerous funding opportunities to conduct innovative research on Newfoundland and Labrador Fisheries and Marine Ecosystems. So please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss common research interests. On top of doing quantitative research, members of my lab have plenty of opportunities to conduct field work aboard the RV Gecho II or aboard commercial fishing vessels, and to participate to survey of Newfoundland marine ecosystems aboard the Celtic Explorer.

Graduate students in my lab register in the newly developed Graduate Program in Fisheries Science. There are three options within the program:

  • M.Sc. in Stock Assessment
  • M.Sc. in Fisheries Science and Technology
  • Ph.D. in Fisheries Science
